Hotel Plaza
Over the past few months I’ve been working closely with Hotel Plaza in Västerås on an ongoing photography project connected to their major renovation and upgrade of the hotel. They’ve refreshed large parts of the building, and I’ve had the opportunity to create new images that reflect how the hotel looks and feels today.
The work has included photographing the new entrance, the lobby and social areas, the updated conference rooms, restaurant spaces, and several other renovated environments. Each area has its own mood and function, so my goal was to capture both the practical side — how the spaces are used — and the atmosphere that meets guests when they arrive.
I’ve focused on clean compositions, natural light, interior details and perspectives that highlight the architecture, materials and design choices. At the same time, we wanted images that work in many different contexts: website, social media, presentations and marketing.
Hotel Plaza is one of Västerås’ most well-known and centrally located hotels. With modern rooms, renovated interiors, restaurants, conference spaces, a gym, spa and a Skybar with views over the city, it serves as a natural meeting place for both business guests and visitors. Its central location and wide range of services make it an important hub in the city.
